American Life Monitoring is committed to the safety and security of our customers. All of our equipment is UL Listed and is tested at our distribution center before it is sent to customers. All emergencies are handled by our US-based and UL Listed monitoring center.

If a customer ever has a question about their medical alert equipment or service, our customer service department is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

How American Life Monitoring Works

  1. Your lightweight, waterproof help button can be worn as a neck pendant or wristband. When pressed, the button sends a signal to the medical alert console that is equipped with two-way voice communications. The range on the button is up to 400 feet, allowing it to transmit to the console even if you cannot speak.
  2. Once a signal is received, it is answered at our 24/7, secure, US-based, UL-Listed monitoring center. Your call will be answered by a highly trained, certified Care Specialist who will assess your situation and then follow your individual emergency response plan and, if necessary, emergency services.
  3. While one Care Specialist contacts your family, neighbors and EMS, a second Care Specialist will stay on the line with you. The Care Specialist will not disconnect until help has arrived safely at your home.
